Not good. Especially when we should be building for next season in the next week or so. He does sound scunnered though.

If he's planning on Bolton on us then I hope he's told the board this so we can go in for someone like McKinnon who my guy tells me is going to be a roarin success in Tayside.

No offence to Stubbs, but this move reflects Bolton's desperation rather his success. It's a big time in his managerial life. He either becomes the guy who got Hibs promoted and/or broke the Scottish Cup hoodoo, or failed twice to take a big club out the second tier of Scottish football in face of mediocre opposition, and fell on his face at the ultimate stage in not one, but two national cup finals in a year.
So the next couple of weeks will determine whether we are going 'yes!' or 'gutted', and whether Bolton have a bright young new managerial force who can restore their fortunes, or a dud who failed in Scotland.

I think Bolton are waiting on Stubbs and it would be a good job for him. They will be hot favourites for league one and he would also be back with his family. I think our board are aware and LD will be talking to someone' I just hope Stubbs leaves as a massive success GGTTH.
