    Keatings

I've said previously that our best partnership is Keatings and Stokes. Keatings is a better striker than Cummings no where near Cummings goals but as an all round striker Keatings is better brings more to the team. Keatings last start as a striker was the alloa game at home when we one 3-0 and then tonight

Can we not find a way to play all three?

    At Easter Road we play...

Great performance from Keatings tonight. Might even keep his place Sunday.

Good that Keatings has produced a good performance but it's ridiculous to suggest he brings more to the team than Cummings who scores every 2nd game at worst.

Cummings does plenty aside from scoring too.

I am glad that Keatings is hopefully growing in confidence for the play offs. But he's been a big disappointment overall, wherever he's played

I didn't think he got the 3rd goal, I thought it was an og.

Many on here were saying he was hopeless and does nothing. He's a quality striker...just not a diamond midfielder...stubbs has spent a lot of time trying to fit him into the team in the wrong position. Him and Stokes works better than Strokes and JC.....id have like JC to come on with 10 to go - replace Boyle and play with 3 up.

Without a doubt. It was Dumbarton's number 7. The announcer gave it to keatings whilst the boy's teammates were giving him a pat on the back and a bit of encouragement.

Keatings is a good player when played in the right position.

I thought Cummings had his best game of the season against Rangers.

Stokes is looking sharper all the time.

It would be good to go into the playoffs with all 3 in good form.

I don't think we can play all 3 at the same time though and get anything like the best out of them so Stubbs has some decisions to make.

It would be good to think we can rotate the 3 of them throughout the playoffs and cup final and still put a strong team out.

Is it because he scores goals against Hearts and Rangers that you don't like Jason Cummings? Again.

He had great movement tonight which we've missed for the last couple of games. It gives stubbs a good headache for the upcoming games.

    Well done Keats.

Apparently the referee has awarded the goal to JK, so hat-trick it is then

I thought Keatings had a really good game. His movement off the ball is first class and he works his socks off too.
    This is how it feels

Keatings spent a fair bit of time persuading the ref it hit him. Fair play.

Keatings should keep his place. Cummings gets the last half hour running at knackered defenders. Could open up big gaps.

Aye the ref has given it to Keatings. Thought it was a nailed on OG at the game too. Pleased for him right enough. Played well tonight.

According to Luke Shanley on Sky Sports, yes (Keatings, not an o.g.)

I believe James left the stadium with the ball anyway

To be fair, he's rammed the ball in your net a few times.

From the way their player reacted it looked an own goal.

I'm sure he won't mind Keatings claiming it took a deflection though.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

As good a striker Cummings is he still has a lot to learn and develop in his game, Keatings all round game probably suits Stokes more and they do seem to play better when together.

    Keatings and Stokes works well.
Stokes and Cummings not as well.
Keatings and Cummings, the jury is out.

Thought the boy booted it off Keatings for the third, watched it a few times and I'm still not sure. Give Keatings the benefit of the doubt though. Hat-trick it is!

Is there anything confirming this? I had him for next goal but it's been settled as an og 🙄

Come on, he does nothing but score goals.

Interesting thst our two most comprehensive wins this season havent included him.

But can you drop your top scorer?
