    Team v Morton

I'd be tempted to go with the same formation, minus the swap in goalkeepers. It's not exactly a formation that's designed for ultra-defensive teams, but the diamond hasn't been working.

    Logan

    Gray Gunnarsson Hanlon McGregor Stevenson

    McGinn Bartley Fyvie

    Stokes Cummings

    Same as Rangers again.

That's the team i'd go with also. Stubbs won't though, he'll persevere with Oxley.

    I'd defo rest McGinn.

He looks completely knackered and almost picked up an injury stretching for the ball early in the game last night.

We want him to be fully fit for the play-offs.

Agreed. Would give McGinn the match off and play Thomson, Henderson or Boyle.

just look at his performances compared to Bartley or Fyvie - he's blowing oot his erchie by 2nd half of games.

Same again but swap McGinn for Henderson for a rest.

Or we could look to really terrorise them and play Dagnall and Keatings up front

I thought after 65mins last night McGinn looked absolutely shattered. He done well first half but was labouring late on. He's still a young lad and has been doing well for most of the season, a key player for us when firing on all cylinders but the boy deserves a full games rest. We should leave him out and bring Henderson in.

The whole team last night put a great shift in after 120 mins on Saturday. Dug deep and got us over the line in the end.

Morton are a decent side on the counter attack, as we seen at Easter road. Think we'll take a cautious approach into this match but hopefully bringing Henderson back in will add some fresh legs into attack.

2-0 hibs with Henderson coming in for zidane.

Agree with those on here who say Henderson in for Mcginn, other than that same again.

Would like to see Boyle get a start. His pace could be critical in breaking Morton down.

4-4-2 diamond please. Henderson at the tip.

Fyvie needs a rest. Was out for 9 weeks then played so many minutes. We are risking another injury if he isnt rested.

Cant see us going 352 against a team that will play one up top and stick 10 men behind the ball... 352 is great when teams come at you. id expect a flat 442. Hederson and Boyle as the wide 2 in the 4.

Normally I'd agree but in our recent league away games we've nearly always played 442 and it hasn't worked. We've had a number of embarrassing results this season playing 442 against teams that play 10 men behind the ball. We seem to play better when we go 352 so if it was me I'd stick with it. Championship teams figured out how to play against Stubbs' 442 a long time ago.

Any of our players on the risk of getting a booking, that could miss a play off match? Thinking Cummings and Hanlon must be near a ban

I think he'll revert back to 4-4-2 diamond but I'd like to see him go 4-3-3.

    Gray
    McGregor
    Hanlon
    Stevenson

    Bartley
    Henderson
    Fyvie

Do bookings count in the play-offs? Different competition since it's the Premiership play-offs? no?

Same line up as Wednesday. Can't believe I'm saying this but today's game is a big test of Alan Stubbs managerial skills, given our result against Morton the last time.

McGinn badly needs a break, he looks shattered after about an hour of the game at the moment. He will be vital for the next few weeks.

Worked his socks off against Rangers in midweek though and it helped us win
Agree he will need his game time managed but expect him to start today given the need to put Falkirk under pressure

We played it against Alloa who had 11 men behind the ball and destroyed them. It can be very attacking if the wing backs stay high up the park and the wide centre backs support attacks.

3-5-2 and play with a high tempo and not wait for the game to happen.

I'd play him today with a view to subbing him after 60-75 minutes, then put him on the bench for Tuesday. Morton away is a trickier game than Dumbarton at home, not withstanding that we've already lost to them twice.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I think Davie Gray could do with a rest too. The guy works so hard every game and at Hampden last week he looked like his legs had gone in the 2nd half.

Today is a must win game, so full team out please. We can rest players more easily in the next two home games.
