We have been granted permission to have a turnstile collection at the Hibs v Rangers game next week.
For this to be a success we need around 30 volunteers to each shake a bucket for an hour before kick off.
To put it into perspective .. each volunteer usually collects around £100 per bucket. So your willingness to give up an hour of your pre-match time is like giving the charity a £100 donation.
Please, please, get in touch if you are able to help out.
Many thanks.

Now the excitement of the weekend is over .. we still desperately need volunteers to shake a bucket for a little while before the Cup Final warm up match on Wednesday.
Please get in touch if you can spare a bit of time pre-match.

Final bump + 1
I am going to take a bucket again - even though I am coming down with a most terrible dose of man flu
Please make sure that you bring plenty of cash for this deserving cause!

Huge thank you to everyone that volunteered to shake a bucket tonight.
It's looking like the fantastic result on the pitch will be matched by the generosity of the supporters off it.
Will post the final amount collected towards the end of the week .. and will also include all the text donations from those that missed the buckets.

Well done StevieC and everyone else who helped on the collection. As in all the Dnipro collections my wallet is a wee bit litter tonight.
Keep up the good work. Can't beleive Dnipro was that long ago! Feeling old as I think about it.

Yesterday was the second time I have helped with the collection and I was very impressed with the level of donations - even though there was another bunch collecting for another charity at the same time (I am surprised this is allowed). Many people commented that they had already given money to the "attractive blond" (who was collecting for the other bunch) so maybe Stevie needs to review his recruitment strategy ....
