Not giving yourself accolades and then pretending that that's what other folk call you.
Examples: 'The famous' .... 'The big team'

If, like me, you're lucky enough to have family ties with Hibs stretching right back to the 1920s, supporting the club meant something very special. The Famous Five era, the European nights of the 1960s and 70s and the swashbuckling Tornadoes team epitomised the 'Hibs way'. Tom Hart as chairman in the 1970s understood 'Hibs class' and ensured we were very much regarded as a 'big' club. Dominating Hearts was taken for granted back then.
What was not addressed, however, was the infrastructure of the club and we ended up with one of the most ramshackle stadiums in Scotland for many years which, coupled with a steep decline in standards on the pitch, saw the club lose its allure to some extent. I'd say that the McLeish and Mowbray eras brought back some of that feeling of 'Hibs class' on the pitch, while our first-class stadium is now unrecognisable from its previous incarnation (credit on that front, to be fair, is due to Rod Petrie and Sir Tom Farmer). I remain hopeful that the terrific work done in a very short space of time by Leanne Dempster will continue to bring back the feeling that Hibs are a special club, and fingers crossed the team can finish the season on a high and spark hopes of a brighter future.

Self-policing bigotry out of our club instead of ignoring or actually encouraging it.
That's hibs class.

Not booing your own team, especially at half time.

Being in the SPL, playing in Europe, big games under floodlights.
Not standing on an open terrace in a crowd of 2k.
