They have never, ever worked as a partnership. Cummings was absolutely dreadful today.

Go together like chalk and cheese. Cummings has played well most of the season until they've started playing together. Two good players doesn't automatically make a good partnership.

Neither did Cummings and Malonga, to begin with.
Though, I'd agree that it might not have been the best time of the season to try to create a new partnership up front.

Cummings should have been off with about 20 to go, just wasnt good enough in the 2nd half

I really do hope that the penny has dropped for Alan Stubbs.

The one that got away. We played right into their hands from the 65th minute onwards. Two diabolical goals to concede

Definitely not the sum of their parts. Both very talented but don't seem to mesh too well.
I felt sorry for Cummings on Sunday. He took a shot when a pass was available and I think he got an ear full from Stokes. 2 minutes later he passes to Stokes and it doesnt come off when he probably should have taken the shot, he just looked so disheartened.
I'd maybe give it one or two more chances before trying something else. It's obviously a difficult choice for Stubbs as to who should be benched.

The problem is apart from Henderson, who supplies the amunition and sets up chances? Gray and Stevenson will run up and down the flank all day but their crossing is woeful.
