    Lewis Stevenson - 300 games

Would be good to mark the wee felly's 300th game on Wednesday.

Maybe the announcer could play this just before the teams run out?

Or we could sing a wee rendition on 16 minutes,

    louie louie
    He's a Hibby
    A Hibby now........
    yaeh, yeah, yeah, yeahhhhhh.

From a half full perspective he never put a foot wrong today. Didn't misplace a pass or send in a poor cross. He also didn't get booked which is great for the run in.

Rather he had it at the end of his Hibs career, hopefully he'll have had more to celebrate by then.

Got told today he had played the previous 60 games in all comps. That must be some sort of hibs record?

According to the commentary the last game he missed was way back in August 2014.

When do you suggest we fit it in ? we can't afford any distractions while we are going for two cups and title and if not title The Play offs .

In the Bosman era (and the lack of money in Scottish football) it's very unusual to have a player make 300 appearances for the same club. Over recent years we've become accustomed to seeing half the team being replaced each season, and it reflects well upon him

Good grief, how time flies. I remember his 250th game. If you'd asked me when that was before I saw this thread, I would have said it was earlier this season. When was it, and who was it against again? All I can remember is that he played really well (and scored?).

Wouldn't suprise me if he was made captain on his next start. I'm sure Stubbsy gave him the armband for his 250th?

I think Gareth Evans was the last to do this around 95 but I'd need to check when Pat McGinlay & Graham Mitchell appeared for the 300th time.

List done from scratch not collated from other sources, and usual rider - I include war time games

Surely McGinlay as he didn't stop playing for us until end of 99-00 season. Some great players in there.
