I have seen on Facebook that Leon who has battled bravely for a long time has sadly lost his fight against cancer. His story has been closely followed by many Hibs fans and members of the team and management so I'm sure they will be very saddened to hear of his passing.
😔 R.I.P Leon.

Another wee soul cruelly taken far to soon. Absolutely heartbreaking stuff, life can be so unfair.
RIP wee man, thoughts go out to all your loved ones at this awful time x

I've worked closely with Leon's dad for a long time. You couldn't meet a nicer family and he will get all the help he needs from those around him to get through this but right now probably just needs peace after years of living with this expectancy.
Awful news. The wee man was a fighter that is for sure.

Heartbreaking.
Never knew the young lad myself but close friends and members of my family had been in contact with Leon's family throughout and his story really touched home. Hopefully they can find some comfort in the support they will receive, and may Leon fly with the angels.
Fingers crossed, much like little Brandon not so long ago, we can, as a club arrange something touching on a matchday to remember such a courageous young boy, who has been taken from his loved ones far too soon.

Remember his story. Terrible news. Thoughts are with his family.

Sad news 😔 RIP Wee man, condolences to his family.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Sad news indeed. Brave Leon fought this horrible disease for a very long time. A nicer family you could not meet and my heart and deepest sympathies goes out to each and every one of them at this extremely difficult time.
He was one of our own.
RIP Leon

had the pleasure of teaching him to drive,he had an infectious laugh......especially on his third lesson,as we went down the bypass at 70mph.
He had a shot on a tank, remember saying my wee polo must be a bit of a letdown😁
Was a pleasure and an inspiration to have known you.
RIP buddy
