People with cup top-ups not attending.
Myself for one. In bed with the flu or something similar.

Looking around tonight there is no way that there were 1000 empty seats or less there than 2nd Jan 2014 Derby.
Hibs have pulled a fly one so the fuds get less cash me thinks.

I had a spare seat next to me in the west lower but it didn't seem like there were 900-1000 spare seats dotted around
At Easter Road we play...

There is no way there were 1000 spare seats. Did anyone's ST/ticket not scan in properly and have to get let in 'manually' by a steward?????!!!! Just a thought

We may well have sold all the tickets but is the attendance not actual numbers through the door? Having said that saw no empty seats from where I was

Never that many missing seats. Must just have been a few singles or hospitality ?
Would love ER to be that busy every week !
Hooefully more keep returning.

People attending that require entry through an exit gate, wheelchair access etc do they scan in? (to be fair I've never seen them scan anything but not paid alot of attention)
Is it possible that some of the missing numbers from the official attendance figures are some of these folk? and hibs are just counting turnstile clicks?
Either way that looked about as packed as you could get it so not sure where the empty seats were.

The guy in front of me at the turnstile scanned his ticket but didn't push the turnstile quick enough and didn't get in. There wasn't a steward there at the time and by the time one showed up all he could do was send the guy round to the ticket office. I felt sorry for the guy and I don't know if he got in or not.
United we stand here....

Dunbar end of the east bottom corner had about maybe 10 rows by 10 seats covered with a flat of some sort. Maybe not as many as that but a decent block. That said place looked packed. What a majestic sight ER full under lights is.
Football poetry.
