I might be going against the grain here, but I'm just not sure if he's quite ready for this. When he's on his game he's great, a really good passer, hard-working and skillful. He's a great young player. But there have also been a few games where, often through no fault of his own, he's been pretty anonymous. The consistency is not quite there yet. It'll definitely come, I've no doubt, it's just IMO he might not quite be ready for this. Obviously I wouldn't have a problem if he was picked though.

Don't think there would be any harm in him being involved with the squad at this stage.

What a motivation for him to show what he can do tomorrow.

Not ready just yet but should be asked along to experience it as he is certainly going to feature in the coming years.

Good luck John. With Jason and Liam probably away with the 21's, looks like our home fixture v Dumbarton will be postponed

I hope not. Strachan will be in his ear telling him he needs to move out of Scotland for the good of his career.

Of course he should be in the Scotland squad.
He's better than Zidane FFS.
It's a shame we have to bloody sing it at McCall and Strachan before they take notice.

Well deserved, the boy's a cracking player and has come on leaps and bounds under Stubbs at Hibs. Got a very bright future if he continues to develop. He looks like he'd be a nightmare to play against.

This. Well deserved for super John. Plus it'll be a great experience for him and he'll come back from it an even better player than what he is just now.
