Said on the other thread but the song is a bit awkward. The wrong lines rhyme. Still, seems to have caught on.

It's not awkward at all. Words fit in and rhyme perfectly

    Not really.

The original song and all other football versions of it rhyme the understand line with the last line. The McGinn version rhymes the 3 rows in a row in the middle so the last line doesn't really work.

Anyway, as I said, seems to have caught on.

From the original, I don't think "understand" and "man" rhyme

Not exactly no, but it gives you the right rhythm of song. McGinn in our last line isn't fitting with anything.

    Still, never mind.

The original has less of a catchy loop to it IMO. Ours is better, but I guess you would never say anything positive about hibs.

    Calm it

Just pegged those creeps back from 2-0 down in the last 10 mins and people are over analysing a football song!

    It's perfect. **** Hearts

Come on Andy FFS I'm usually a fan of your posts but you're surely not debating whether our best song in a while fits in with the perfect rhythm of a song from about 30 years ago?! Surely not
