Anywhere open early down Gorgie/Murrayfield for Hibs fans on Sunday?

Diane's pool hall open from 8AM I believe, Roseburn is 11AM and the Murrayfield aren't letting Hibs fans in due to English fans staying over from the Rugby....

Thought the Roseburn would of opened earlier than that. I'm sure it was open for 9 the last time.

It's against the law to sell alcohol before 11:00 on a Sunday. certain places get round this like snooker and pool halls.

It's only against the law if you dont have the extended license, which a lot of pubs around the hearts end seem to have no problem getting approved by the council

Thanks for that. My intentions were to go to the Murrayfield but looks like it will be Diane's Pool Hall for me.

If I recall correctly - before one of the recent derbies, there was a fair bit of damage done to the outdoor tables, chairs etc from People standing on them, doing the Hibees bounce etc. Although I don't think the damage was deliberately inflicted I can't imagine the owners were best pleased.

I can confirm that this is nonsense. Been in there a number of times with friends and family and never been asked to produce student ID for cheaper drinks?

In the Ark? Last time we were there you defo 100% got cheaper drink with a student card type thing. Think its called a yellow card or something like that.
