I need to shut a Jambo up without the need to resort to violence

Can't quote the rule, but in the press this morning that Souttar is eligible to play for them on Sunday, as he was an unused sub in earlier tie for DUFC.

The players in a team may be changed from match to match, but a club may not play, or list as a named substitute, any player who, in the same season, has already played, or been a named substitute, for another club in the Competition.

If he plays we'll win, if he doesn't play we'll win. That's all that really matters.

You could ask 4 different people at the SFA/SPFL for a definitive answer and get 4 completely different answers. They're clueless. They'll make it up as they go along and fill in the blanks, with rule amendments or whatever, when they can be bothered.

Technically yes, but as rules don't apply to Yams, no.

Have the clowns running our game explained yet how he is eligible to play despite their own rules saying the complete opposite?

    I looked into this yesterday.
The rules quoted above are out of date.
Latest rules- which are different- are here http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resource...DBOOK_2015.pdf

    Souttar is not cup tied.

The players in a team may be changed from match to match, but a club may not play, or list as a named substitute, any player who, in the same season, has already played (as one of the 11 first-named players or as a fielded substitute), for another club in the Competition

The wonderful SFA just have no visible link to their up to date rules. It's like the bloody secret service!

It is there, just not well signposted.

    SFA site (Scottishfa.co.uk) > Scottish FA > Policies > Documents > SFA Publications 2015/16 > SFA Handbook 2015-16

The 13/14 rules have been changed .
