    Osman Sow

Hearts getting £1.5m for him from a Chinese team, and he's out of contract in May! Games gone

Find that figure very hard to believe.

Regardless of what the fee is, I'm happy that Sow, Goris and King are not with them for Sunday. Three effective players not available to face us.

I don't know. The Chinese will maybe have to pay a premium to attract players to a country where the culture is vastly different to western Europe.

That'll be the fee Hearts want their fans to think/know.

Still no bids for the wonder kid Paterson?

My thoughts exactly. That fee won't be anything near that! It will be on appearances and goals scored. No chance they would pay that for a player they can sign for free come the summer.

I'd expect that to be more a matter to be dealt with in player wages. He is out of contract in six months. Paying £1m to get him now seems a bit over the top.

The weather's a bit blowy outside, can we not just close this transfer window now?

HMFC seriously weakened as it stands, the sooner the window closes the sooner I can stop worrying that Levein might manage to pull a rabbit (or in his case some kind of weird giant death robot) of his own out of the hat.

The rumoured £1.5 million has now dropped to £1million (Radio Scotland) so if we hang around long enough I'm sure we can negotiate the fee down to a modest £50,000 which would seem about right.

Hope they have sold him to China Hearts and they end up getting 1.5p in the £1 and see how they like it.

Chinese Laundry surely! Ridiculous money if true but Arabs apparently got £400k for McGowan so it seems the Chinese haven't really worked our market out yet! Tommy Wright should be on the phone telling them about O'Halloran!

Actually, would be quite funny if Yams gazumped Sevco for O'Halloran!

Seven figure fee for Osman Sow!?

That's the funniest thing I've heard for a while! Whoever negotiated that deal deserves a medal.

Maybe the Chinese think they can make a silk purse out of Sow's ear?

Obviously, the Jambo's accountants are once again applying their creative form of accountancy to events in Gorgie

If only TB had been allowed to continue as manager and get his transfer targets in we would now be getting a million pounds for Sow.

Granted we would have been playing Airdrie in League One on Saturday but still.......

Agree entirely. Yep I thought English Premier league teams would have been all over the Gorgie Cafu.

As someone said elsewhere, maybe the fee for Sow was 1.5M Yuan, which is around £160K.

Dammit ..... we had the record for selling to suckers when we got actual money for Shelton Martis, but if this is true the Yams have played a blinder

If only we had a modern-day Brian Hamilton to punt to them and rinse them of their recently-acquired Yen…..
