First class again today. He is a cracking player, don't really see a weakness in his game at the moment.

Have to agree - I've eaten two seasons on humble pie matty - revamped player and to be brutally honest, he's under the radar of clubs - thankfully.

Would like to tie him up on another long term deal for his best years. If he continues to progress he should be pushing for the Scotland squad next season.

Outstanding today and has been all season - And that's coming from his biggest critic

I hope we've offered him a decent contract. His current one is up in the summer so essentially he is free to talk to other clubs now. I think he is only going to get better and should be in our squad after June.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

He's a modern day footballing defender. We're lucky to have him.
Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
He'll die before he's sold.

Always has been a superb player IMHO.
Carried a number of fellow CH's in his time at which his own game has suffered.
Hopefully continue to play for us and has been a great servant!

He's been superb lately and I'd be delighted if he signed a new contract with us.
However, he might have better options available to him now - would certainly like to know if we are talking to him about a new deal.

Classy defender.
He's still only in his early - mid 20s as well which I think is often forgotten.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

He has improved his strength massively over the last two seasons. Doesn't get bullied anymore.
Excellent today.

Aye. Good player. But let's not forget he is playing in the 2nd division against QOS, Livingston, Morton, Alloa etc.
So he really should be strolling it.

What happened with him and Thompson today.
I must have missed something - David Gray seemed to be telling Paul to leave it. He looked like he wanted to burst Thompson at one point.

He looks assured and composed - credit to Subbs I'd say.

I have always rated him but he did take time to gain strength and most importantly start to bully attackers. He was good before Stubbs came in but there has been a big improvement in the last year and a half. There aren't many ball winning, positionally astute defenders who are good with the ball at their feet. I doubt we could afford one if we let Paul's contract run out so his and JCs contracts must be tied up soon. Offer them some security and a good few quid more I suspect speculation with those players will lead to accumulation of both points and pounds.
