Surely he's a dead man walking.
When will he get axed?

When Does van Gaal get the Sack?

Sack him today and get Mourinho in tomorrow, to have his first game in charge on Monday against Chelsea!

I'd be surprised if it wasn't tomorrow.
With Guardiola available in the summer and Jose available now it would be madness to stick with a guy who is failing badly.
Given the way Man Utd have been run in the last couple of years though I wouldn't be totally shocked if they gave him money to waste next month.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

What exactly has Giggs done to deserve the managers job at one of the biggest clubs in the world?
I'm not having a go at the above posters as there are so many making this assumption that Giggs will eventually take over. If we're thinking along the lines of old boys then I'd rather have Gary Neville if it was up to me.

Other than that though I tend to agree, no idea what he is like away from the media but on camera he doesn't strike me as someone you'd assume would be going straight into management.

Why would United fans want Jose to take over ??
Haven't they just witnessed all the chaos he causes when he goes to high profile jobs ?? He falls out with anyone and everyone causing a horrid atmosphere and if they think United under Jose will go back to playing a style of play United fans want their team to play then they are going to be in for a rude awakening..

I think it was demba ba that said recently mourinho pushes everybody so hard it gets the best out of players but totally unsustainable for anything more than a couple of years. Found that quite interesting, mourinho has achieved almost everything in club football, I think his next challenge is to be able to stay at a club for a few years and show he can build something.

Utd fans like the rest of us just have to realise that the Ferguson type domination of English football was a chapter in their history unlikely to be repeated. Just like Liverppol fans had to :-)

One of the strangest appointments to start with!
I don't get why Man U would want Jose as he's not one to bring in youth or like to attack every game.
Pep would be the man to do it but I think he's City bound.

I can see the attraction, LVG's problem is that they're ***** to watch and getting poor results, that's never going to be a popular combination.

I'm surprised he's not gone yet.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

United should get Mark Hughes off Stoke and let him and Giggs run things. The defence would toughen up anyway!
