    Anyone watching this?

Neil Robertson just got a 147 break in the final against Liang Wenbo.

    He leads 4-2 overall.

Got it on but not paying attention.

Not often you see 151 on the scoreboard

    Indeed.

I've still never seen a frame start with a free ball and then a player goes on to reach a break higher than 147. That would be some achievement.

It has been done in competitive snooker. I think it was Jamie Burnett. I'd have to check to be sure.

It was Burnett. Scored 148 in the 2004 UK Championships.

    Yep in the qualifiers.

Actually a bit surprised that it's not happened more than that to be honest.

I felt for Thepchaiya Un-Nooh who was on a 140 break earlier in the tournament (ironically against Neil Robertson) but went on to miss the final black.

I've never seen a snooker player look so gutted after winning a frame.

How did he "only" get 148? Do you not go for a colour after a free ball?

It wasn't all blacks after each red.

I was going along the lines of a 147 break plus the free ball.

Steve James got 16 reds and 16 colours one time but I think his break was only 130 odds
