Murray broken to go 5 4 down in second set. Didn't see this coming before the match.

Andy's not on his game and the other guy is playing exceptionally well.

    Time yet though.

French boy is starting to burn out now. Murray coasting from here on in.

The boy's thrown the set. Interesting 4th coming up!

It's amazing how quickly things can change in tennis.

Half an hour ago, Mannarino was hitting Murray off the court, now he can barely keep the ball in play.

    Third set to Murray, 6-1.

    That's more like it!

    Murray is 3/10 on Betfair!

  12. #41
    What a point!

How on Earth did Murray win that!?

  13. #42
Murray breaks in the fourth set.

    Looking much better now.

It will be interesting to see if Mannarino has anything left to give in either this set or the fifth set assuming it goes that far.

Will be a sickener if he loses now.

  15. #44
Murray takes the fourth set 6-3.

Can only see one outcome from here.

Big turnaround but hope he hasn't taken too much out himself for later rounds assuming he sees this out.

Murray breaks, get this done Andy!

  18. #47
Murray breaks at the start of the fifth set.

He's just worn Mannarino down over the last couple of sets.

Jeez. Thought he wouldn't get back from 2 down. Well done Andy!

Murray serving for the match @ 5-1

  21. #50
    Murray wins 5-7 4-6 6-1 6-3 6-1.

Pretty impressive to only lose five games after going two sets to love down.

Now plays Thomaz Bellucci in the third round.

Murray had me chewing my fingers up to the shoulders. Hopefully that was his one bad match in the tournament.

Wawrinka struggled too against the Korean kid so maybe the heat and humidity levels play a bit.

Another solid win for Novak Djokovic today although he was put under some pressure by Andreas Seppi. He eventually came through in straight sets.

Milos Raonic is in a bit of bother in his match against Feliciano Lopez as he's just gone two sets to love down.

Rafael Nadal is playing a bit later on.

Bad news for any British based Andy Murray fans tomorrow as his third round match against Thomaz Bellucci is the second night match scheduled on Arthur Ashe court tomorrow so it's likely to start around 2am on Sunday UK time.

Nadal lost to the Italian Fognini in a great five set match which is kind of sad since he was one of the guys I wanted to see on the other side of the mens singles draw. Looks like it might be Djokovic vs one of the French players and Federer vs Murray or Wawrinka in the men's semis. Perhaps there are more surprises to come.

The long range weather forecasts are predicting thunderstorms for the end of next week. We may have to buy some emergency rain gear since the new roof they are building over the Arthur Ashe stadium is not due to be completed until next year.

Sad to see Nadal doing so badly in recent times. I wonder if he'll ever rediscover the form that saw him win so many Grand Slam titles five or six years ago.

At the moment, it's not looking likely.

Johanna Konta takes the first set against Andrea Petkovic on a tiebreak.
