The pundits were genuinely talking about this Arsenal team having the best chance in years to win the league title this year.

Not sure why - absolutely no cutting edge and still utter pony at the back.

Arsenal are the English Hibs. Nice pretty football but **** up regularly when it matters and when expectations are raised

Probably because of the win over Chelsea last week. You can't really have a go at them for judging things on 1 game when you are doing the same thing. Arsenal are far from bad at the back, that is a boring 5 year old cliche from the Senderos/Eboue times. They have had no cutting edge today yes but with players like Walcott, Sanchez, Ramsey, Ozil and Cazorla that isn't likely to continue.

Also regularly winning trophies and derbies, something that makes them nothing like Hibs.

Two FA cups in amongst a horribly barren spell for them. But yeah, we are defo more like Spurs when it comes to their derbies

2 FA cups in 2 years isn't a barren spell IMO.

The previous 7 or 8 seasons were though, which is what I was meaning

While paying off a 400 million pound stadium and constantly remaining top 4, not bad when you consider their rivals were spending that on subs.

I think West Ham were around 9/1 for the win.

Mark Noble may not be one of the worlds best players but, his workrate is unbelievable.

Good to see Newcastle doing well.

McLaren is a good manager and beating Southampton is no gimme, assuming it stays how it is. The Toon fans, much like Hibs fans, deserve a break this year.

Like when Arsenal destroyed Aston Villa 4-0 to retain the FA Cup at the end of last season? If only Hibs could emulate that here.

Season over for Arsenal as that's them now three points behind. Probably finished as a club now.

Ah sarcasm. The difference of course is that Arsenal weren't relegated, and then stayed down last season.

I think a lot of the stuff about Hibs already being three points behind The Rangers is that many (rightly or wrongly) see the Championship as being a two horse race between Hibs & The Rangers. Arsenal's situation is entirely different.
