Looked a pretty clear penalty to me. Dived in and clipped his ankle.

No real arguments as it was a poor tackle.
Griffiths on the deck hurt, despite getting up and taking it.

The inconsistency from refs is so frustrating.

If that happens 65 minutes into a game in January it's a red. 4 minutes into the opening day fixture and the ref shows 'common sense'.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Definitely a red for me.

It's a tough call but there's an argument it's a clear scoring chance. The fact he's running away from goal is irrelevant - he's reaching the ball with a chance to hit the target before Van Dijk gets to the line IMO.
Definitely a matter of interpretation though

Either way it's a goal scoring opportunity so it's a red.

Wouldnt be a red if the law was denying an "unmissable goal scoring opportunity". But a clear chance? It definitely was
Don't think Collum is biased mind, he is just consistently inconsistent

I wish your outcome had happened regardless of whether I agree with it or not

Some strange interpretations of the rule. If a defender denied a one on one with a goalkeeper (far better equipped to stop a goal than anyone) the player committing the foul goes - but a guy facing an open goal isn't being denied a goal scoring opportunity because a defender might be able to cover the line?
Irvine is a decent player anyway, but I don't think the term 'clear goal scoring opportunity' should be interpreted depending on the ability of the player in question to convert it.
Gordon should have walked.

Having seen the replay, Irvine didn't push the ball as far away from the box as I initially thought he had actually

Considering County are playing the most difficult fixture in Scottish football dont think they have done too badly to be honest.
McIntyre seems to have done a decent job with them.
