    Ibrox Attendance

Seemingly The Rangers have sold 35,000 tickets for tomorrows game, combined with the 950 hibs fans still leaves the ground half empty, in my opinion we should have had 1,500 minimum thoughts ?

Where did you see that? It was almost always "heading for a sell out"

Capacity is 51,082 so 35,950 is hardly half empty

Agree we should have been given more tickets though
    This is how it feels

They will sell more but won't sell out. They don't like it up them.

Funnily enough the metro this morning says it's sold out. Just shows you can't believe all you read.

They said the queen of the south game was heading for a sell out but look at the number of empty seats there were .

Rangers tweeted at around 11pm last night to say that they'd sold 37,000. I reckon the attendance will be around 43,000, which will be 5,000 down on their game against QoS.

And I'm sure the local Huns will have to be up early for work tomorrow morning... Oh, wait.

Somebody needs to forward that tweet to the Metro, just to clarify the 'Sold Out' situation.

Local Hun has told me there is a pay at the gate section tonight for their supporters. Don't know if it is true or not.

    Looking forward to it.

I normally just bash through the M8 route but someone mentioned going off and taking the M74? Anyone done that and know the route?

Turn off the M8 onto the M73 heading south. Then take the M74, as if you're heading for Hampden (heading West). Don't turn off at the normal turn-offs for Hampden but keep on the M74 and you'll meet up with the M8 just south of the Kingston Bridge.

The Bridge is a nightmare at that time of day so it should (theoretically) speed up your journey.

Here's a wee map of that part of the route....

Do that route everytime I need to go to the west side of Glasgow. The only busy spot will be rejoining the M8 after the Kingston Bridge.

Cant be anywhere near a sell out. Tickets are available at their ticket booths right up to kick-off.

Had they giving us a couple of thousands game would have been as close if not a sell-out Rangers would have got the full south and i think everyone would have been happy but that’s too much common sense for that lot.
