Great tennis from him. Bodes well for the French open.

Rafa's timing is all out to be fair.
It would be great if Andy became a clay court specialist!

Brilliant. Beating the top clay man in his back yard. The French will be fascinating.

To be fair to Nadal, he's nowhere near his best.
However Murray deserves great credit for winning in Madrid. It's a great win for him and I hope he can go on to have another excellent week in Rome next week and then do well at Roland Garros at the end of the month as well.

Think Murray didn't get the credit he deserved for that win. A lot of people saying it isn't the same Nadal which is true but I am sure I read he didn't drop a set on his way to the final. He still is a force to be reckoned with on clay.
At seed 7, if the world rankings are carried through, he is someone I would not like Andy to face in Paris in the quarters and then face Federer and Djokavic.
Murray was excellent yesterday and bossed the game.
