    It was just the monthly award. Don't think he's even nominated for the SPFL young player of the year.

    Well done to him though. Looks like he'll be top scorer for us which is a great effort.

    Does anyone have a list of the nominations for SPFL Championship Young Player of the year? If the league's top goal scorer isn't even on the list that's a joke.

    Think this is the four...

    Ryan Christie (Inverness CT)
    Jason Denayer (Celtic)
    Sam Nicholson (Heart of Midlothian)
    Jamie Walker (Heart of Midlothian)

    Although its just PFA young player of the year. Not sure if each division will have its own award.

    The only explanation for it is that they don't do young player awards for each division. It's strange if they don't, though.

    Upset too many Huns and the media with his "touch of an angel" comment and lack of deference and humility.

    Done a fantastic job for Hibs given his age an what was expected of him at the beginning of the season. Deserves more recognition.

    According to our pal Barry this is the championship team of the year...

    Champ Team of Year: Alexander; Gray, Ozturk, Wilson, Stevenson; Allan, Gomis; Walker, Reilly, Loy; Sow.

    The leagues top scorer not being in that team is incredible, he's scored just about twice as many as Loy ffs!

    Do you know who votes for this? Fans? Players? Journalists?

    Ridiculous that Reilly, Loy and Sow FFS are in the team ahead of the division's top scorer.

    If voted for by players, could it be....

    ... Defenders would find the bigger, older and more all-round strikers more difficult to play against? Jason could score a couple and barely lay a finger on a centre half for the rest of the game.
