Bet the ranch on bayern to qualify which was just over evens before kick off. Rarely bet, but couldn't see any other outcome.

Porto have been gash but Bayern have ruthlessly taken their chances.

Game on! Porto need two more to go through

    5-1 now.

Obviously Porto are now dead as a club.

Bayern are crap. We scored 5 in the first half once then got another couple in the second half.

    6-1 Bayern.

Bet Porto are glad about that!

Only if they go into administration first.

If we had those players, we would be. It's a different game from our level.

I know. Then again, we're playing Falkirk and not Porto so it's kind of relevant. Hearts have managed to be far more ruthless than us all season but I don't think they have better players than us

Helps when you have hundreds of millions of pounds to spend... Bayern are Celtic, Rangers, Man Utd and Chelsea all rolled into one. They have regularly decimated any potentially threatening competition by signing other domestic teams best players and continue to do so. Helluva side yes but its fantasy football when you get to that level. FC Hollywood eh?!

Still wouldn't mind the academy that's brought through Muller, Lahm, Schweinstieger(sp) though

I might be mistaken but I'm sure bayern helped keep Dortmund afloat when they almost went bust about 10 years ago.

They did, they gave them a Loan.

However, they've made a habit of buying all of their promising Players recently, making it difficult for Dortmund to sustain a challenge.

True. But I don't think it's on the same level as the 'old firm'.
Dortmund the German hibs in a sense?
