Allan 8 Sees twice as much of the ball as the rest of the midfield.
McGeogh 8

Defence - Brilliant. I haven't been totally convinced over the hype for Forster in the past - but EXCELLENT today.. his block late in the second half sums his performance up! Hanlon confident on the ball and Fonts as solid as ever.
Three in CM all got strong pass marks, ran the show!
I am in love with Farid El Alagui.

Fully agree ref Stevenson - 1st half in particular he looked rushed in everything he was doing - was discussing with others during that period that he just needed to calm and slow it down a bit.
He has made me eat my words em this season thou and have nothing but praise for his commitment and ability which he has shown on a consistent basis.
That said my man crush is still very much on Fontaine 😳

Oxley 8, 2 great saves from Walker and last minute header back to him from Hanlon
Hanlon 9- few good battles with Sow and Zeefuik, won them all
Forster 10- motm, great center back but also will do anything to prevent a goal
Fontaine 8- not really the busiest of the 3 but still solid
Stevenson 6- good at the back but poor attacking
Fyvie 8- ran around a lot and neat player
Allan 9- toyed with the, showed them no respect and was terrific to watch.
McGeogh 7- good player, good energy and pace but greedy at times, takes too many touches
Boyle 9- so fast and knows how to use it, few nice touches and passes today
Cummings 8- good game, always a threat
El Alagui 9- great to have him back, brilliant in the air but also runs around a lot with some nice touches also, that finish was outstanding.
Subs
Malonga- whats wrong with him?
Djedje- tried to square it 3 times now whilst on goal, glad he got this one right, was a perfect pass.Last edited by cameronw-hfc; 13-04-2015 at 12:59 PM.

Oxley 7: Made a decent save but had a really dodgy punch that he was lucky to retrieve.
Fontaine 9
Forster 10
Hanlon 9
Stevenson 5: Can't fault his effort or work rate but I thought he had a dreadful game. Having a great season though.
Allan 7
McGeogh 8
Boyle 7
Cummings 8
Farid 9. Offers the team so much. Wonderful player.

Think Stevenson couldn't understand the Hearts set up at right back.He had so much room that his crossing suffered.Entitled to a poor game in a very good season.

Oxley ... 7 ... some decent saves, but not a lot to do, the back 4 kept the Yams at bay
Stevenson .... 7 ... his passing and crossing were poor, but just stuck at it
Forster ....... 9 .... for a guy who has barely kicked a ball all season he was immense
Hanlon ........ 8 ... solid as a rock
Fontaine ......8 .... strolled it and missed scoring a great goal by inches
Allan .... 8 .... seen him have more impact, but he was very good for all that
Fyvie .... 9 ..... thought he was excellent, ran the show at times
McGeough ... 8 ... ran and ran, did everything right
Boyle ... 8 .... kept his discipline very well and did his job, his best game for us.
Cummings ... 8 ... great poachers goal and worked hard, faded badly in the 2nd half, seems to lack the fitness to last 90 mins?
El Alagui .... 10 .... What can you say, won header after header, his knock down for Cummings was sublime, good with the ball at his feet, brave and a great finish ... the best overall display from a Hibs striker since Griffiths.
Malonga .... 4 ... It wasn't so much that he didn't play Boyle in, it was the shocking attempt at a shot. He did a couple of decent things after that to be fair ... like others I wonder how much of his injury was in his head. This guy has played at a level way above the Scottish championship and once changed hands for over a million Euros ... why is he so poor?
Dje Dje ... 6 ... did well to lay on Farids goal and worked hard.
