Quality - joy to watch some quality players in the middle - comfortable on the ball and always wanting it even under pressure. Makes a difference to previous seasons.
I thought we would miss Robertson - but Dylan, Scott and Fraser stood up today and showed the quality they have if they have help around them.

Desperate to keep all 3, in particular Dylan and Fyvie ( only because they are out of contract in summer)

I think 4 in midfield makes play bogged down in the middle and we rely too much on the wingbacks, 3 there allows natural wide men like Boyle etc to come in and stretch gthe defense.

I did have my doubts for some reason - but today the balance was right and he was everywhere.
Looking fitter and stronger as each game passes.
Would love to keep all 3 longer.
While Allen is the real playmaker - McGeough keeps the ball so well and speeds up and slows things down when needed.

I thought we were great all over the pitch today, dominated the midfield but for the first time for a while I struggled to come up with my motm. So many contenders in all areas of the pitch but fyvie really looked the part today. Mcgeough & Allen were quality as well, and that midfield compared with last season gives real cause for optimism. I would love to think that our current midfield will be at the club next season.
It will be difficult to keep them all (particularly if we fail to get promoted) but I have really enjoyed watching them for the majority of this season.

Midfield was much better today, McGeoch and Fyvie stepped up to the mark, team which started today had more positivity and should play at Hampden.
Just realised Boyle could be cup-tied, worth trying Dje Dje wide?Last edited by crash; 12-04-2015 at 06:45 PM.

Dons fan on Facebook seems to think Fyvie will be snapped up by them as replacement for Jack.

Depends if we go up or not.
