Let's do it !
Stubbs and this team deserve our support - plus this will be a tough game and could be a major factor helping us get through to a money spinning final.
We have had some great Hampden crowds over the years and it would be great if we could fill our end for this one.

Yes of course! You never know they may turn into diehards - however you classify a diehard ?!

25 would be nice but 15,000 would be more realistic. It also depends on the day and kick off time.

I'd be disappointed if we couldn't at least match the 2013 semi which was 17,000

Really hope we're on the Sat. A Sunday would drop our attendance significantly I think

I do get the feeling that it could be a Saturday. my reasoning being that we are classed as a wee club at the moment, in comparison to the likes of Celtic/Utd/Inverness/ if they beat Raith.

Saying that, they might actually do their analysis and decide that our game has the potential to be a cracker. The last one certainly was.

Our last two home crowds put together don't equal 25,000. We will be hard pushed to that to hampden.

Will those boycotting until Petrie goes turn up for a semi final and, dare I say it, a final?

Maybe not the semi but you watch the scramble for tickets should we get to the final. There will be cries of "it's not fair" I can't get a ticket.

No chance of 25k Hibbies at the semi. Expect the usual 15-17k hardened soldiers. Girlfriends and the foreign legion will trot along to the Final.

Are we not automatically the Sunday game with being the second fixture drawn?

I think you're getting a tad over excited (uderstandable, I suppose) if you think we could take 25,000 to a Semi Final.
There'll be the usual 15-18,000 there, I'd imagine.

15k max based on recent support I think. If barely more than 10k can be bothered turning up at home in a quarter final I can't see where the extra will come from.

Have a look at the other runs we've had in the cup. The number we can take to a Semi-Final bares no relation to how many turn up for a home game earlier in the competition. For instance, two years ago we had less than 10,000 at home to Aberdeen, and that was when we were in the top league and they brought a big support. It didn't stop 17,000 Hibbies turning up for the SF.
Try to think of it as the difference in demand between the Chuckle Brothers and a Bruce Springsteen concert.

On the subject of attendances, yesterday's United v Celtic tie attracted 10,504 while we had 11,259 so we're not doing so bad after all.
Falling attendances is a general malaise throughout football but when it comes to the semi final stage then you can bet that the occasional supporters will turn out in force.
