    To be fair to the SFA it has to be said that they do appear to recognise the need to bring on and nurture young talent, whether they are going about it the right way is for others to judge I guess.

    The problem we have is that not only do we need to do more to bring through young talent, we are also in a battle to ensure that they have a meaningful full time league to play in. The owner of Ross County was flagging this up only last week. I would utterly hate to see a situation where the only full time teams were the Ugly Sisters, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, the Yams and of course Hibs, that would be the death knell of competitive professional football in Scotland.

    If that were to happen I for one would expect the remaining full timers to somehow find a way onto the English gravy train .... a road I for one hope we NEVER have to go down.
