    Charity Match 11

Who would be in your ideal Charity/testimonial Hibs team made up of former players..let's make it for players under 50 (that means I can squeeze Sauzee in) and we can ignore injuries and assume they are fit to play (so I can squeeze David Murphy in) - I will allow one over-age player in goals since I can't think of anyone worthy of the slot who is under 50 + 5 subs who will all get a run out.

    GK - Budgie

Back 4 - David Murphy, Rob Jones, Franck Sauzee, De La Cruz

Midfield - John Collins, Scott Brown, Russell Latapy, Merouane Zemmama

Forwards - Stephen Fletcher, Leigh Griffiths,

Subs: Derek Riordan, Mixu, Matty Jack, Ivan Sproule, Ian Murray

Right who have I missed that I will be kicking myself about ?

As with every Hibs match played, he will be there in spirit, encouraging every player on the park to do work nobody sees.

In fact very few people know the truth about Brian Kerr..he was in fact immortal and his real life story as a spy who had the power of invisibility was fictionalised and used as the basis for the 1970's TV show Gemini Man. It was only later once he gave up his spy career that he took up professional football and did so much of his best work for Hibs. While the adventures Brian had in real life were different to those in the TV series for reasons of National Security, his Invisibility was caused by exposure to radiation from a Russian Spy Satellite as explained in the TV Series. By the time Kerr was playing for Hibs, his technicians had changed his means of switching on his invisibility from the digital watch seen in the TV series to an Implant in his tongue. Fans who watch Kerr closely could actually see him pressing the tip of his tongue with his fingers to switch himself to and from invisibility mode. see pic HERE

full details of the Gemini man series below.

GEMINI MAN - The series starred Ben Murphy as laid-back denim-clad, motorcycle-riding secret agent Sam Casey who, while diving to retrieve a fallen Soviet spy satellite, was exposed to radiation in an underwater explosion which rendered him invisible. The agency he worked for, a high tech government think tank called INTERSECT ("International Security Techniques"), found a way to return him to visibility and control his new power by the use of a special wristwatch referred to as a "DNA stabilizer" which was invented by scientist Abby Lawrence (Katherine Crawford). Pressing a button on the digital watch would make him vanish clothes and all which was a helpful tool in his line of work, but he could only do this for 15 minutes per day or else he would die.[1]

Aye, that's all very well but I still can't see him though.
