Watching the game yesterday the players for long spells looked in control and it was a good away performence.
I read a lot about prices on here and how we have to keep them high if we want better players, so how would this lot do in the premiership?
Would we finish top 6? Are we good enough to go even higher?
Would it be nearer the bottom?
Lets face it most teams in this league are not full time.

Our inconsistent start would have probably done more damage in the top league and made it harder to get on a good run of form.
Probably bottom 6 as per. Conversely, I think if we can go up this year, the confidence from regular winning will do us well.

I think top six would be achievable.

We gave Dundee U a good run for their money earlier and humped a poor Ross C and our poor start as due to the time taken to get shot of Butcher and bringing Stubbs in. Having watched all the Prem teams I think at this moment in time we'd finish top 6 easily and push for top 4.

Hamilton are in 5th place in the premier, a few points off 4th and a few ahead of 6th. I think we'd fare similar to them.
Off topic but I just realised how well ICT are doing, only a point behind the supposed title challengers aberdeen and a mere 4 points behind Celtic. Fair play to yogi.

Its difficult to say given the quality of opposition we have been up against this season.
I do think the bottom 5 or 6 teams in the Premiership are garbage though, and Id fancy us to be competing towards the top 6 with the quality of first team and squad depth.

From what I've seen of Hibs they seem to play a lot better against teams who open up against us. In view of that I don't think there are many premiership teams we would need to fear. Somewhere between 4th and 8th for me.

TBH I think we might have torn them apart for their poorer early season form and they might have had a few hidings in the SPFL. In many ways I don't think it's been too bad a thing to build up the confidence at a lower level. Long-term I don't think our last relegation was at all bad for us because it let us regroup and grow the squad/ club again.
I don't want to be down any longer than we have to, i.e. we must get up this season via the playoffs but it may yet prove not to have been disastrous for us.
Impossible to say imo.

Probably around mid table.
We're not as good as Celtic, Dundee Utd, Aberdeen or Inverness.
I would fancy our chances of finishing above any of the rest.

IMO it''s a big step up to Prem level so, mid table at best. Aberdeen and DUFC have kicked on since Sevco's demise. Their Boards saw the opportunity and have done really well to strengthen their squads/clubs.

4th or 5th I reckon. We matched DUFC over 120 minutes and have come on leaps and bounds since then. **** it, defo 4th

To me, this team is bottom six at best ... if we go up we will need to make massive improvements to the squad to get into the top four ... that won't happen

Think we would be a top 6 team .. Think if Stubbs is here for a few years we could do really well

Well Sevco have beaten 3 premiership sides already, and we've humped Sevco, so top six finish for me!

We need to keep our feet planted firmly on the ground and continue to improve a bit before I consider us capable of a higher position if and when we go up.

9th. We need to strengthen which I'm sure Stubbs knows and will do if we go up.

Top 4. Only Celtic, A'deen & Dundee United are any great shakes in that division.

I think we'd be anywhere from 4th down to be honest. We have some good quality at the club and when everyone is fit we have a strong first 11 that would definitely compete with most SPL teams.

I think the state we are in now (not start of season) we would be top six. FWIW Hearts would be too, Rangers on the other hand would be found out and scraping the bottom with the current state/squad they have.
Only teams I think that are better than us on our game would be Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Inverness and going on the United game earlier in the season we could definitely give all four a game.

6th-10th.
If we had the same number of points as we do in the Championship we'd be 5th. 6 points behind 4th, with a game in hand.
