Best wishes from me to everyone on this Board. I read far more than post, I find myself regularly nodding my head in agreement with posters and probably shaking it in exasperation at others in equal measure, but at the end of the day there is far more that unites us than divides.
12 months ago, we were witnessing what seemed to be improvements in the team's performance, we won the NY Derby then a few days later we were comfortably winning 2-0 at Tannadice with 10 minutes to go. Hence my prediction back then that this would be the year we would win the Cup. Ah well, never mind, 2014 was a good year for me in other ways
The first final I remember is 1958 v Clyde - listened to the second half on the radio with my dad - so let me say what I have been saying since 1959 - we WILL win it this season!!!!!!!!!

Happy new year to all the Hibees out there wherever you may be. Let hope football wise, 2015 is going to be better than 2014, I have a slight suspicion that it will be, starting on 3rd January

Happy new year to Hibbies everywhere, and - in the spirit of the season - to the registered yam members on this board.
Here's to a great year for the Hibs, and can't wait for this at last being our year!

Over the past few months I've crossed swords with many of you on certain subjects and believe me, I haven't always felt great about it. We all share at least one common passion, Hibernian Football Club, but the written word will always have more gravity than the same thing said face to face. I'm pretty sure that I'd have a ball with most of you if we met up for a pint, something I'd like to do at some point in the future.
In the meantime I sincerely wish every one of you a happy new year from here in darkest Brittany. I further wish you all good health and happiness, in the hope that our team will bring a smile to our faces in 2015 and beyond.

Steve.
