During the 1974 World Cup the German TV highlights show displayed their credits over a back-drop of Sloop doing his keepy-uppy tricks. The clip was featured on World of Sport or some such during the tourney. Having seen said tricks up close when he training and quite often during matches, sometimes in the penalty box, I'd would love to see the sequence again. Superb routine.

The Falkirk Herald or The Herald?

I can't see it mentioned in either paper's website.

The only defender that could head a ball back to his keeper in the six yard box

Recall getting his autograph on the back of my hand, big tide mark around it for weeks.....
