    St Mirren potential takeover

    From BBC Gossip:

"A group of businessmen from Holland and Kuwait have been in negotiations with St Mirren about buying the Scottish Premiership club, which chairman Stewart Gilmour has been trying to sell for about almost five years. (The Sun)"

That'll be St Mirren favourites for the next administration-induced relegation then.

If it wins them some trophies in the mean time then why not.

There are individuals in Kuwait who literally have more money than they know what to do with. As above, why worry about jam tomorrow if you can have jam today. No Hertz fan regrets the Romanov era.

Why st mirren? If you had more money than sense you wouldn't be looking at st mirren, you wouldn't even be looking in Scotland. The fact that they're looking at a club like st mirren would have me concerned if I was a fan.
