    Dnipro Turnstile Collection - £1060

A huge thank you to all the volunteers that helped out at the Dnipro Appeal Turnstile Collection at the Raith Rovers game.

The final tally was £1060, which is a pretty good amount considering it was a crowd of less than 10k against Raith.

Wouldn't have been possible without the amount of volunteers we had though, so give yourselves a deserved pat on the back.

And a big round of applause to everyone that donated.

    HI Stevie,

My son Sean and I had a great time collecting opposite the Albion Bar. We had some good banter and Sean learned some new skills on , using banter, smiling and saying thank you, making eye contact, shaking the bucket, profiling likely donators and the importance of positioning ourselves near the programme seller so people were already handling money - and receiving change

He also learned that smiling and saying "We would be delighted to get some Fife money" to Raith fans doesn't mean that we will get any.....

Thanks to everyone who donated, especially the ones who put paper donations in , and the old Raith fans who showed that not all Fifers are tight

Count us in for the next collection and good luck with the charity dinner. Is it a sell out?

    What an excellent post!
Its heartwarming when we receive feedback like that.

We have reached our initial (break even) target for ticket sales, but its a nice big hall and we can accomodate more tables for late ticket sales.

Any tickets sold now are directly contributing to the charity funds and what we will be able to provide for the kids next year.
