New version of The Planets by the BBC with Brian Cox. Very good and easy to understand. Not as good as the original series mind you, 20 years ago blew me away.

Enjoyed it too - Cox has a superb ability as a science communicator - a rare task amongst academics in hte sciences (and one I wish I could emulate - not that I've got a face for TV ).

Good mixture of visuals and information - I absolutely loved the soundtrack too.

Quite a nihilistic conclusion - but such is our fate.

I'd rather that they left it to weekly episodes but it's all on the i player.

Looking forward to this, love Brian Cox.

Mr Robot is a series I highly recommend - intensely dark.

It is very good, got the feeling a lot of it has gone over my head though.

It's so ****ed up. I'm only two episodes in... Can't believe it's all true, what a horrifying time that must have been.

Anyone that's watched Chernobyl should check out the documentary about the building of the new shell over the reactor that exploded, unbelievable feat of human engineering. Wouldnae have been needed without the disaster but, magnificent all the same.

Terrifying. What if they had got it all wrong? The world I grew up in would be vastly different.

The new Deadwood movie is on Sky Atlantic at 9pm this Saturday. Never re-watched the series after it ended in 2006 but looking forward to seeing those characters again. Was such a classic show - so well written and a brilliant cast. Seems like really positive reviews and a proper ending this time.

Doubt many people will watch on Saturday night at 9pm of course

I didn’t see the original, but I enjoyed the new version. My only issue was that it was a bit dumbed down to allow for viewers that were new to the subject. It was a bit lacking in theory and concentrated on what we already knew. I would’ve liked them to have concentrated a bit more on the fact that Venus and Mars were once habital and the possibility that life could have started and may still exist on these planets. Brian Cox is a great scientist and a great presenter and I’m sure he could delve a bit deeper into the facts. I’m sure as the series progresses and the ambiguity lessens the show will become better.

I’m recording all of them as I can’t stand the weekly wait, but from what I’ve been hearing it sounds awesome.

Not too sure, I think I saw it on Discovery Channel.

I don't think this is the one I saw but, it'll tell the same story.

Neil gaiman and Terry pratchett's Good Omens begins today on amazon prime.

Killing Eve series 2 begins next weekend.

Saving Grace series 2 is airing on S4C just now, but it is in Welsh. Have to wait for it to come to BBC 1 for it in English.

Good Omens first episode was a good sign for the rest of the series.

Wow, I didn't know they were making a movie. There were always rumours it was going to happen but I hadn't realised that they had managed to do it. This has made my weekend!
