Gotti with John Travolta on Netflix, like mob movies? This is a lot of fun. JT is cool AF and a mean MF. OTT but worth a watch. Good music as well.

The first episode of The Bay was good last night. Bit Broadchurchy.

Watching Little Boy Blue on ITV hub. A hard watch. Stephen Graham is one of the best British actors around.
He is in the New Line of Duty this weekend.

I watched it the other night. I have to say I enjoyed it, considering how it was critically panned by everybody. Its no where near the worst film ever (or best) but very enjoyable.

Like you say I thought did a very good job as Gotti, he was the best part of it by miles. Some of the other casting was a bit ropey though.

New series of The OA been released.

That's my next binge watch sorted.

Reading up on this and seemingly there was a "tv movie" in 1996 starting Armando Assante. It was supposed to be quite good and featured supporting actors who went on to appear in the Sopranos (which I haven't seen).

Perhaps another reason why JTs one wasn't that well received.

I watched this and thought it was OK. The acting was pretty awful but the soundtrack was decent.

However the main intrigue is WTF has happened to Travolta's face? It was bad in the OJ Simpson series but it's like a half melted waxwork glued to a rock then stuck on an outsized bodies shoulders now. I couldn't really concentrate on anything else.

Stephen Graham is a phenomenally good actor.

I'm petrified of him after This is England.

Watched a documentary on BBCiplayer last night, Identical Strangers.

Really interesting, throws up some interesting questions relating to the nature v nurture argument.Would recommend!

The Dirt - Netflix movie about Motley Crue.

Really enjoyed it but I was a bit of a fan back in the day great music.

The book it’s based on is superb.

Aye I've said on here before that the book is tremendous.

Has anyone seen afterlife on Netflix.? Found parts of it hilarious.

Watched the first 3 or 4 Afterlife with the missus and it is a good watch, like Extras and the Office its something me and her can watch and enjoy together.

I was also coming on to mention The Dirt. Watched it at the weekend and thought it was a decent, fun to watch movie. I believe its being slated by the critics but loved by the fans. I recommend anyone who has an interest in Motley Crue or watching a movie on the typical sex drugs and rock n roll lifestyle.
I was amazed that such a knob like 'Machine Gun Kelly' played the part of Tommy lee brilliantly and surprisingly, looks like he could be a very good actor.

    The Dirt was excellent.

That old cliche of ‘the book is better’ is true but I loved the film. Probably helps that Motley Crue are ****ing class.

I just finished After Life tonight. I thought it was fantastic. Funny and sad in the right places. It’s up there with Gervais’ best stuff. Still Derek at number 1 for me though! Apparently there’s a second series to come!

Babes in the wood (not a particularly easy watch), Trevor McDonald programme on ITV last night about the hunt for the murderer of two 9 year old girls in Brighton in the late 80's.

Alan Partridge with his Irish Guest (also Steve Coogan) was one of the funniest things I have seen for years. I have watched so many times and still can't stop laughing at it.
