Just catching up on The Last Of Us now.

Never played the game but boy this is a good series. Flavours of the early Walking Dead for obvious reasons but none the less it’s very well done.

Any parent will enjoy the interaction between Joel and Ellie…her part is written and acted brilliantly.

The episode with Bill and Frank was also superb. I started off thinking it was yet another box tick but in the end thought it was a brilliant portrayal of humanity.

In other words I think this is some of the best TV I’ve watched for quite some time

Scrubland, Australian 4 part mini-series about a journalist who returns a year later to a small town that had a multiple shooting committed by the priest outside his church. He's there to write a short piece about the town on the anniversary of the shooting but after speaking to some locals and doing some digging he realises the real story behind why it happened hasn't yet come out

Enjoying Payback on ITVX starring the lovely Morven Christie and Peter Mullen

With an idyllic family lifestyle in the suburbs of Edinburgh, Lexie Noble, played by Morven Christie, is unaware that her husband Jared has been laundering crime lord Cal Morris' illegal earnings on a vast scale - Jared's every move is being monitored by financial investigators DC Jibran Khan and DCI Adam Guthrie, who are determined to use the Noble family to bring Cal Morris to justice

Far too much of it filmed in Glasgow.

Quite enjoying Brawn the impossible F1 story, 2 eps in to a 4 parter, realty quite interesting, I have no knowledge of it as I’m not a follower of F1 but it’s pretty good.

Read the book a couple of years ago. Only watched the first program so far, but impressed how closely it follows the book, pretty much how I imagined the scenes when reading it. First one setting the scene, giving the background details, it gets better and better as the story progresses.

Boat Story. Fantastic viewing, funny, weird, intentionally bad writing but also the TV equivalent to a book that's a real page turner. Really enjoyed it.

I've just finished The Fall of the House of Usher.

It's 8 episodes based on Edgar Allan Poe stories and utterly captivating.

    Highly recommended.
    Bumping this.

1 episode left, and loving it. Captures Poe brilliantly, without the viewer needing to know the basic stories.

You turned me on to Call My Agent as well.....so..... what's next on your "watch this!" list?

Are you sure? I think it just a real life version, i.e. people competing in the games shown in the show (obviously without lethal consequences) and some other games specifically made for the show.

Watched a series on Disney plus over the last week.

Mr Inbetween. Really recommend it. About an Aussie hitman trying to balance raising his daughter etc. black comedy drama is probably best way of describing it.

It’s from 2019-2021 and there’s 3 seasons but only a total of about 26 episodes.

There are so many good dramas.

I thought Slow horses was excellent. Gary Oldman is superb.

The Offer was terrific, especially if you loved The Godfather, and Money Heist (in Spanish with English subtitles) is immense.

I'm watching series 5 of Ray Donovan and the way they're telling the story is very good.

I'm sure you'll have seen most of the popular ones.

Edit: Upright with Tim Minchin was good too.
