I think I said it during the first series of Annika but, Nicola Walker talking directly to the viewer takes some getting used to, clever idea though.

The Girl from Plainville. I knew of the story and HBO had done a documentary called I Love You Now Die which was decent, but the dramatisation is really good. Elle Fanning could actually be Michelle Carter.

I've watched the documentary but haven't bothered with this, some story though.

Hijack on Apple TV was really good some bad acting and a fairly ludicrous plot but it was tense and exciting.

Really enjoying the Godfather of Harlem

Finished S2 of The Lincoln Lawyer this week. Really enjoyed it and although not confirmed, feel it set up a S3 quite nicely

Back reading the book, which has been fantastic thus far

Must admit I didn’t rate it as high as the first season. Took a long time to tell essentially one story that you kind of knew was gonna end the way it did.

Still half decent easy watching stuff tho.

Dopesick was tremendous so I'm unsure why Painkiller got made 2 years later, then gets worse reviews

Just finished From. Really enjoyed it (apart from the overly long intro track). Gutted at having to wait until next year for season 3

The trial was well publicised in the media but I thought the back story and watching the trial play out in court with witness testimonies was an interesting watch

    Sorry 😃

Just finished The Bear - loved that. Best TV I've seen in a while.

Also just binged "How To With John Wilson". Thought it was excellent.
