Anyone got any recommendations for next Sunday night?
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

    Literally anything.

The handmaid's tale channel 4 at 9pm. Probably a less depressing watch than the Euro's final.

Fortunately Sunday is a day of music for us. No telly, usually vinyl all evening with a Sunday roast.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Thanks. Vinyl is from the 1960s up to this decade. So plenty choice. The records are alphabetical and I take the final record from last week and jump 7 or 9 forward and do the same all night so it's pretty random, anything from ABBA to ZZ Top with plenty different stuff like blues, jazz, rock folk whatever comes up.

I thought it was pretty good to start with, but it gets too far fetched, especially during the 2nd load of episodes that they released.
That’s part of the charm really, same as Indiana Jones or Sherlock or Tintin, Lupin is just escapism, a family friendly adventure romp for the 21st century. One of the very few things everyone in our tribe will sit down in front of.

Watching Katla on Netflix. Set in Iceland (the country) in a remote village next to an erupting volcano.

Very good. Won't give away any of the plot but reminds me of Les Revenants.

I absolutely loved it. Keeps getting stronger for first four seasons then plateaus for the remaining three, but that plateau is still excellent.

Watched the first couple of episodes of Limetown on Alibi, it's got a bit of potential.
I’ve watched the first 3 episodes and I agree, it’s a bit weird that the episodes are only 30 minutes long, I can’t think of any other series that does that.

It was originally released on Facebook, nobody (within reason) watched it.

Yeah it really made you think didn’t it.

The piece with his ex cell mate at the end really did bring home what it means to leave people to ‘rot in jail’.
Time was excellent, watched it this week and loved it. Very powerful, very “real” look at what prison is like - far from the cushy number folk claim.

It's got a bit of Wayward Pines about it.

That's the impression that I got, it's not the holiday camp some like to portray, I read a book a couple of months back, think it was called a bit of a stretch that was a guys diary from his time and jail, it is the mental health that is rife in prisons that got me, you get far from an easy time of it

Did anyone get to the end of Raised by Wolves? Like my sci-fi but I endured this rather than enjoyed it. Very weird.

I watched the whole lot at Xmas , It was as daft as a brush and made no sense at times but found myself quite sickly enjoying it

Started watching Heist on Netflix, really good docu-drama about various different heists in America as told by the perpetrators, but they also narrate the re-enactments.
