Finished the fall last night, it’s pretty dark viewing but gripping all the same. I’m finally going to start line of duty tonight.

I binged all of Line of Duty in a week and a bit a couple of weeks ago. Excellent viewing

The first episode of the new series was a bit disappointing.

  8. #4327
Line of Duty tonight. Outstanding, one of the best episodes of them all imo.

Tied in old cases and set the scene for where the rest of this series is going.

Ted also came through with the classic line ‘I’m looking for one thing and one thing only. Bent Coppers’ I actually punched the air

That and 'wee girl' are my favourite Tedisms. Both got an airing tonight.

I'm wary of spoilers and it's probably too obvious but my gut instinct is Kate is up to her eyeballs in this and always has been. The ultimate undercover.

I don't particularly like the character, but his sarcasm in the interview scenes across all series is a highlight for me.

    Paraphrasing:

Ted: how did you know the people in the van were up to no good?
    Davidson: call it copper’s intuition
Ted: yes I get that; in fact I’m getting it right now

It was stunning . Impossible to summarise without spoiling so I won’t.

I’m actually feasting on cop shows these days. Line of Duty, Unfirgotten, and all six series of Spiral.

He does ‘incredulity’ better than anyone. Eye rolling, repeating the accused’s weak alibi word for word in a sarcastic tone of voice to make it clear how unbelievable it sounds. I’d crumble in the face of Ted.

He even managed to sneak in a "Haud yer wheesht" type line in too.

Don't panic, I know DCI Cassandra 'Cassie' Stuart (Nicola Walker) is dead and gone but a fifth series has been agreed. I assume DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar) steps up, or
Yes, I read that as well, with a new character.

Snowpiercer series 2 just finished on a huge cliffhanger. Is she or isn't she? What about Ruth?

Glad I was watching Unforgotten on a week to week basis.

Anyway watched Flight Attendant this week - good watch. Not sure about the ending but I did enjoy it overall.

Started Save Me Too last night (it’s been on the planner for a year) and looking forward to the rest of it.

I've started The Man In The High Castle - I can't praise Phillip K Dick's writing highly enough and this is next level brilliance.

Superb acting too - I'm definitely in love with Alexa Davalos
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.
