    Star Trek Lower Decks

Seen a few things about it when it was originally released in the states last year but didn't look into it too much as couldn't watch it over here but it's been added to Amazon Prime a few days back and decided to watch it and it's really pretty funny.

If you like things like Family Guy and American Dad as well as Star Trek then it's great but it's very un-Star Trek like when compared to the normal shows

The Windermere Children and The Windermere Children : In their own words. Dramatisation of Jewish children evacuated to England during WW2, then a documentary featuring some of the survivors themselves. Both BBC4 @ 2100 tonight.

We watched A Discovery of Witches - that had a decent start but deteriorated and the lead character just spends the second season being wholly irritating.

    Channel 4 for me today.

Blitzed through the entire 2nd series of Back. Picked up where the 1st series left off. A really brilliant show. It was risky pairing David Mitchell and Robert Webb in another comedy because the Peep Show comparison were inevitable. It works though and the supporting cast are excellent.

Also watched the 1st episode of It's A Sin. Looks like it will be really good but it's going to be a hard watch so one episode was quite enough for one evening.
Finished It' a Sin last night. Absolutely top class storyline, production and acting. Keeley Hawes performance in the final episode further cements her position as one of Britain's top actors.

I finished it the other night and couldn't stop thinking about it. A couple of reviews have described it as a masterpiece and it's hard to a argue. Really, really powerful stuff, a few breakout performances and a great supporting cast of older heads.

    Just brilliant TV.

Just finished the last episode of "The Five" on Netflix. Great storyline that has you wondering how they're going to put all the different aspects together but it all makes sense in the end.

I started watching the Kominsky method last night. Some of the humour is brilliant.

Finished it yesterday too. What struck me was that, despite the show covering 10 years (81-91), the styles didn’t change from first episode to last. Nobody aged, hair styles remained the same, fashion didn’t update, decor of the flat was never updated, the hospitals and cars were all from the 70’s right through to the end. It seriously detracted from the excellent story line and soundtrack.

For men of a certain age, and their offspring, it's required viewing 😁

    Opinions eh? 😁

I can't see how KH gets so much work. She and her hubby just turn me right off.

Now that you've told me she's in it, I might avoid it.😆

I finished watching Criminal last night. I enjoyed both seasons, but the second one was better. The one were the guy was accused of rape was quite powerful. I’ve got jury duty next week and if I get picked I’ll need to remember not to be judgemental based on someone’s demeanour.

Netflix has also done German, Spanish and French versions. All very good.

1 - Resident Alien on Sky/Now TV - found the first two episodes really funny, should appeal if you have a dark sense of humour

    2 - Wandavision - just finished watching episode 5 and HOLY F***ING S*** ON A STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anybody who is a fan of Marvel movies but was put off by the first three episodes i strongly recommend you binge them and then watch episodes 4 & 5 - It's amazeballs. Cannot wait to see where it goes from here.

Anyone been watching John Le Carre's 'The Night Manager'? It's up to episode 5 but there's still time to catch all four on Iplayer. Great cast of Tim Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman and Tom Hollander. Very watchable and not quite as complicated as some Le Carre stuff.
I just watched this over the past few nights. Well worth it.

That’s a wee rave from the grave. How long ago did I watch this and post about it? I really enjoyed it.

Ps. I think Tom Hollander is superb. He was in ‘Baptiste, a year or two ago. It’s a drama about the criminal underworld in Amsterdam. If you’ve not seen it, I can highly recommend it.

It’s a spin off from The Missing if you’ve seen either series of that.

Started watching Greenland on Prime but it looks like its been filmed on 80's style videotape.

Interesting idea but poor quality put me off.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
