Apart from the proper 3 Star Wars movies I’m not really a fan but decided to give The Mandalorian a go on Disney and thought it was great!

Money Heist - midway through the second series of it, it's very good.

Does anyone remember the old Hammer House of Horror series. Some brilliant stories , always scared the **** out of me as a lad.

    Loved them as a kid.

I have ‘the house that bled to death‘ etched on my mind.

Watched Normal People on BBC yesterday and I’m completely confused as to wether I liked it or not. Anyone else watched this?
Yep, I think it's brilliant. Really well acted and for me anyway, very true to life as regards so many young relationships. Just my opnion though.

Yeah, some of the translations are quite amusing but you get past it quite quickly.

    Secret history of the troubles.

Its a series currently on the BBC iplayer.
IMO it gives a good balanced view, is very well made and is compelling viewing if you're interested in the history of Irelands troubles

I found that fascinating when I watched it last year.

It was remarkably balanced, given it was on the "British" broadcasting corporation.

I must have missed the series being on TV last year, but really enjoyed watching it on catchup.

The previously unseen footage (unseen in the UK) , plus the recently released military documents were vital in filling in the gaps from previous 'Troubles' stories.

Finished Gangs of London. Very violent but absolutely excellent!

Got Ozark next on the watchlist. Heard a lot of good reviews about that.

I was suprised that didn't make it into more "Top 10s" in that particular thread.

I was like that but I persevered. It's good but it's not my favourite series by a long way.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Ozark is a decent watch but it can’t help but suffer from comparisons to Breaking Bad and it’s simply not in the same league. Ozark does have a great cast though and I think they elevate it above the script.

Agreed. Some of the acting performances where superb especially Laura Linney.

It’s very violent but definitely binge worthy. I thought it was absolutely excellent. Every episode had me right on the edge of my seat.

Is she the girls that plays Ruth?

I thought her and Jason Bateman have been stand out for heir acting abilities.

Peter Mullen has played the bad guy very well, ad has his wife in it.

Marty wife, I forget her name, is a bit of a up and down character to the point she just annoys me now.

However I'm struggling with the storyline being a bit thin, and very coincidental in places. I will stick it through as been told Season 3 was great.
