Highlight was Charlie Watts playing air drums. Even better, he got some noise out of them.
Charlie is a legend! Best for me was Eddie Vedder.

Some trashy TV that's taking my mind off of things is Bondi Rescue - following the lifeguards on Bondi Beach. Most episodes are on YouTube and it's terrible TV but mindless and actually quite good fun and occasionally interesting.
There's a scene from that used by St Andrews First Aid in their AED training...so quite an endorsement.

Gave up on S1. Looked a great idea but found it to be absolutely chronic. Amazed it got another season.
It's ****ing brutal. Neighbours levels of TV drama, and just ****ing ridiculous in parts.

The Mrs watches it, I'm almost at the "it's so bad it's worth watching" stage. Some bits are hilariously bad.

Has anyone been watching Westworld? I’m quite surprised it’s not been mentioned.
Yeah, I love it. It's hard to keep track of exactly what's happening all the time but I'm finding it ok to follow in the main. Great use of music in it, and it's incredibly well made.

Worth watching just for Delores. 👀

Some great performances and some not(Elton)
Elton John was hilarious, i thought it was Vic Reeves as the pub singer on shooting stars.

Im on attempt number 2 to watch it. It started off as quite a good idea but is so over dramatic at times it can be difficult.

    Better Call Saul tonight...

Been a few nods to breaking bad in better call saul usually about Jessie. Tonight will be a tough watch I think. Series six will be a game changer and the end of an era, i think i prefer Saul to BB. The strength of the acting is better IMHO.

Series 6 is going to be intriguing to see how it's managed. It's surely going to be the point at which prequel flips almost fully to sequel and the flash forwards will be resolved.

Going to be a tough watch. I love Jimmy/Saul. Possibly the best character I can think of, maybe Tony Soprano topped it.

Sacrilege! Love IASIP. My wife has watched Brooklyn Nine Nine all the way through, so I’ve seen episodes here and there and thought it was utter guff. Maybe doing it a disservice, and we all see things differently.

Finished Caliphate last night to make way for Better Call Saul later on.

The anxiety and adrenaline whilst viewing Caliphate was through the roof and needed a few quiet minutes to absorb before heading for bed. Terrific TV though.
Might catch up with a few films before dipping into another series. Quite fancy Fauda - would anyone recommend that one?

I'm enjoying Fauda, but I'm only a few episodes in. I struggle a bit watching subtitled programmes. If you don't mind subtitles, a couple of friends have told me a lot of good things about Money Heist.

What BB and Saul do to perfection is showing you one or some of the characters creating something or doing something with you really guessing what they are upto only for a stunning reveal soon after. Huells letters or Sauls Mesa Verde video. Walt making the gun for the boot. So many little touches like that. FWIW I think Lalo Salamancas character is excellent.

There will be 13 episodes in the final season so hopefully that gives them a bit more scope to finish things properly.

Apparently Sauls current season ended in June 2004 and Breaking Bad’s story starts in September 2008

In BB I had pretty much forgiven Walter everything, despite how terrible some of it was, until the Mike incident.

Funny how people see things differently.

I watched iasip all the way through and I just thought it was meh. Not too many laughs for me.

Though thought the episode where the eagles win the superbowl was pretty funny.

Yep, his last line was sublime. Could easily watch a series of Mike.

Just finished Ozark S3 which was superb.

Struggling to find something else now.

I don`t mind subtitles at all and do quite enjoy films in foreign language. Usually helps with keeping focus on the viewing rather than being distracted by phone alerts and what not!

Think I`ll give it a go, and Money Heist that you mention has cropped up on my recommendations.

Always Sunny can be hit or miss at times, particularly the later series (although the last season had a couple of their best episodes IMO), but given there’s something like 150 odd episodes there’s probably a lot more hits than misses.

Think Brooklyn Nine Nine was always going to struggle with me as don’t find Andy Samberg funny at all.

Started watching The Nest after seeing a few people mention it on here and I’m loving it. Just finished the 3rd episode and I’m gutted I don’t have time to finish it tonight.
