I had a feeling Ozark series 3 was going to let me down but the first episode was a corker.

I watched the first episode of Hunters on Prime earlier, not sure where it is going tbh. Seems like a mix of genres for now, will stick with it and see if it is a grower or not. Any other opinions so far?
Have watched all ten of episodes in season one and loved it! Carol Kane who plays Mindy gives a stunning performance.

Am half way through Justified and truth be told I was hooked after just thirty minutes of episode one 😁

I’m half way through...it’s as good as ever even if some of the plot lines are a bit of a stretch. Always the way though as the seasons progress the writers get a bit carried away.

    Quality viewing none the less.

I’ve been watching Modern Family from the start (I’ve seen it before). Excellent programme.

Just finished watching the Gabriel Fernandez & Tiger King mini documentaries.

The Gabriel Fernandez one is truly one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever watched. Absolutely disgusting seeing a young, innocent kid go through all that hell. I hope both his mum & her boyfriend are going through hell just now.

Tiger King was bloody weird. Absolutely wild story with each episode bringing something else that's nuts. Everyone in it is an awful person though, particularly that Carole Baskin.

Is the English Game on Netflix any decent?

    English Game is ok.

Historically inaccurate and a bit too Downton Abbey for my taste but passes the time and is quite entertaining.

I gave up after the second episode.

I watched 3 episodes of Tiger King today. My biggest problem with it thus far is I hate absolutely everyone in it.

Ozarks has been recommended to me.
All the online channels have put up boxsets, BBC has some good stuff. I guess the current situation is prime (scuse pun) for people to binge. I try to keep TV until the evening and listen to music during the day.

Got the kids Disney + today. Must say for 5.99 a month (7 days free trial) it's got a huge amount of content.

From Disney classics, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel etc there's loads. I'm even hunting down some old films from my youth like The Strongest Man In The World.

Elvis lives, what a performer. Pure history, well worth a watch. If his pal Johnny Cash did this type of thing haha
I was so lucky to see Johnny Cash in concert, watching this is as close to Elvis is as close as I will ever get. Musical magic. Still prefer his early days
Plus the backing band STILL are amazing.

I dive back into that quite regularly and never get tired of it. The early stuff is better than most of what followed (after series 6).

Ironically in these circumstances, my favourite episode is probably "Quarantine".

I loved The League of Gentlemen series and watched them again recently on the BBC iplayer.
Anybody who watched those will know that they're dark humour, but very funny.

The BBC iplayer then recommended 'Inside Number 9' .
If you liked League of Gentlemen, you'll like this too. There are 4 series to watch and it's similar dark humour and very well made.

I loved the League of Gentlemen so I’ll need to give Inside Number 9 a go.

This week I’ve binge watched Tiger King and Sunderland Til I Die season 3. Enjoyed them both. Personally, I think Carol Baskin is to blame for Sunderland’s failure to go up!

    Loved ‘Inside No.9’
Kinda like a black comedic version of the old ‘Tales of the Unexpected’ (many episodes of which are on YouTube).

Finished Tiger King. It was OK but in common with a lot of Netflix documentaries it was about 2 or 3 episodes too long. There's so much filler that add little in terms of detail or entertainment value.

The whole story could have been told in 3 or 4 episodes.

I was a bit confused about the amount of time devoted to that Doc guy, didn’t really see what he had to do with the story, other than he was as bizarre as the other 2.

Red Dwarf never gets old. It's brilliant.

I remember an interview with the creators who couldn't believe they got a tv show greenlit by the BBC with a cast of a stand up comedian, a punk poet, an impressionist and a dancer!

I’ve just started it from season 1. Watched it years ago but lost the thread when I changed sky for by. Season 1 is excellent - just finished the doctor surgery episode.
Curb Your Enthusiasm. I just finished the latest series and am doing the same - started watching again from season one.

What a surprise to see Bob Odenkirk - of Better Call Saul fame - playing Gil the ex porn star in episode three.

Back to its best with this recent series. One of my all time favourite comedies

Haha I found this amusing about it. I have no doubt that pretty much all the main people in the program should be behind bars for one thing or another.

I had it Tivo'd. It's available on the Virgin Store. Google is your friend to avoid having to pay for it. 😏
