Probably been mentioned before but really enjoying The Man in the High Castle, couple of episodes to go in season 2 and have really enjoyed it, it's a take on how the world would have been if the Japanese and Germans had actually won the war. Scary stuff.

Based on a Philip K Dick book of the same name. An incredibly disappointing ending to that book.

Hopefully the series doesn't disappoint then, although I am getting a bit confused by the alternate timeline, I assume that gets explained? No spoilers though.

Loving Gone Fishing with Whitehouse and Mortimer. Nice relaxing telly and I find my self giggling away at some of the chat.

My missus and I watch it together, it’s about the only thing we both like on tv After five series it still seems like Bob is still not very good at fishing. You’d thought he’d have got better by now. But I never got the hang of it either. Great music, relaxing scenery, aged bromance, nature and gentle comedy. The fishing is really a side show.

Tonight’s Dispatches was a bit harrowing.

One of the TV highlights of my week. Looking forward to tomorrow night's episode and their visit to Scotland and Bobs attempts to find the elusive Nessie

    It’s a real gem of a programme.

It really is. It’s a total mood-lifter. I love Bob Mortimer, I grew up with Vic & Bob (and Whitehouse on The Fast Show) as my number one comedy influence.

He’s my dream guest for the podcast, i think i could retire it if we got him in!

Has anyone watched Glow? Saw it mentioned in an interview about the new Community movie that finally looks to be happening. Watched a trailer for it and it looked quite good and worth a try.

The female wrestling show? It's quite funny at times and pretty easy watching

That’s the one. Will give it a few episodes and see if I like it or not.

Our Friends in the North on BBC 4. Brilliant telly.
Just catching up on episode 3 1968, Malcolm Macdowell at the end of his career and Daniel Craig at the start of his are fantastic. I honestly think it’s one of the best TV series ever made.

I have to admit, I was a bit reluctant to watch it this time around, in case it was one of those situations where the memory is brighter than the reality 😀

But it isn't. It's wonderful telly.

There’s no CGI that could equal the amazing visuals in Frozen Planet 2.

Enjoyed the first 2 episodes of The Old Man on Disney +
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Haven't seen this yet but I'm a big fan of Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. Was always giving this a go! Hopefully catch up at the weekend.

I’m well into squid games now but I’ve been watching with the English dubbing on finding it difficult to enjoy because of the daft ness of the voices but I’m past the point of no return now I’ve got to see it through

Tremendous episode of Rings of Power this week. Tees us up nicely for the final two episodes - although I'm not sure we'll get to the point of the rings being forged this series.

I'm still unsure if Sauron is one of the characters we've met to date, or yet to be revealed. I'm leaning towards the mystery man with the Harfoots being Sauron.

Its infinitely better watching the Korean version with subtitles. You get the true emotion from the actors.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
