PBF is just great, i must watch it again. Probably my favourite genuine ‘road movie’ along with Midnight Run. (This should be on the film thread!)
Good to see Midnight Run get a mention. A very underrated film.

Would've still been a tough climb the nic he was in! 😀
I’ve finished it all now - I think that but at the well is the turning point; went downhill after that. Such a promising start but it was like they ran out of ideas or time.

Finished The Tourist over a couple of nights this week. We both really enjoyed it (probably my partner more than me as she is a bit of a Jamie Dornan fan). I wasn’t too sure about all the stuff with the Russian(?) woman, thought that was all a bit unnecessary and they could have got to the same ending point from a different means utilising other characters.

We’ve moved on to The Puppet Master and are 2 episodes in. Like other folk have mentioned, I’m amazed that folk were so easily taken in by him. Why does MI5 need me to provide their ‘agent’ vast sums of money for *my* witness protection programme would be top of my list of questions if I was one of the student victims. The dad of the female student has missed his calling in life. He should have been a cop or, dare I say it, an MI5 agent

It’s so amazing the way they were taken in (and as someone says, they don’t seem gullible), that if this was a fictional TV show, I’d be saying “come on, this is a bit unbelievable, isn’t it?”

Watched the first two episodes of Always Sunny new season. Thought it was time to put the show down based on the trailer for the season and them going to Ireland.

First two episodes are very good though. Clever and on point, particularly the second episode.

I’m surprised no Ozark watchers on here. Great TV, halfway through series 4.

There were a few dodgy bits in the series (mostly when Lucas started to reference other movies, and WTF were those space bikes all about) but broadly it was still a good solid addition to the franchise. Some of the bad reviews went too far.

Was just about to post about it. Started S1 about 10 days ago and will be watching the last 3 episodes of S4 today - really enjoyed it.

If anyone hasn't seen Reacher on Prime, so much better than the tiny Tom Cruise Reacher. Close to the books and much more like the physical Jack Reacher.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Only realised that when it ended - I had read it was the last season but didn’t realise it was in 2 parts.

Been a great programme. Maybe tailed off recently but it’s set up for a hopefully decent conclusion. Wonder how many will survive!

Please can the first one be the son😂

Fair play to her, some job she does.

Watched the new Louis Theroux on Sunday.

It's amazing that literally every right wing nutter interviewed is an utter loser.
PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

The 22yo boy that is a “future president” is so far up his own arse. The others just shout over when they’re on the losing side of an argument.

His views on women were an as much a disgrace as his views on race.

The gamer guy just came across as pathetic. Caught on camera doing a nazi salute and tried to take some kind of moral high ground.

I see it is getting absolutely slated as being misogynistic.

Have to say, I’ve been to see Adam Kay numerous times over the years, read the book and been to see the stage show of This is Going to Hurt a couple of times and it didn’t jump out me as being misogynistic in itself (pointing out the failings of the healthcare system, including instances of misogyny, yes).

I’m not a woman, though. Nor a medical professional, as quite a few doctors, nurses and midwives seem to be finding it “triggering” too.
