There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Who Do You Think You Are? is back and the first episode throws up some surprises.

Guilt series 2. Looks like it could be good, and already seen some hibs stuff. And the baddy is wearing the wrong colour of tie. 😉

I've watched the first 3 episodes, much better than season 1.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Paris Police 1900 on iplayer, a bit like a French version of Ripper Street.

I've not watched series 1. Would I be able to start at Series 2 ok?

    Started on the Squid Game.

Enjoying it but even at episode 5 I'm 99% certain I have already worked out what the inevitable twist is going to be. It's not all that subtle (if I'm right of course).

You are more than likely right, I had it sussed early doors as well

There's one major storyline that you wouldn't see coming if you haven't watched s1.

Maybe one for the Pet Peeve thread but I wish programme makers would spend 5 minutes of the first episode of Season 2 reprising Season 1.

I watched Season 1 but it was ages ago so really don’t overly recall the thing at all! A few minutes refreshing my memory (and giving a wee guide for those that didn’t see it) would be rather handy indeed!

You've probably got it. I sussed it early too.

I thought the whole series was good and very well acted but nowhere near some of the hype it's got.

Probably more down to good marketing
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Bake Off and Strictly. Absolute golden time of the year for TV. Sure Masterchef Professionals usually starts around about November too.

I feel sorry for Jurgen. He's been so good since day one they are judging him more harshly than the others. Still think he will win it though.

I’d love to see the final contested by an Italian and a German the year we leave the EU.

I’ve just rewatched This is England box set, on More4 now. So powerful, Stephen Graham and Vikki McLure especially good but the all cast are exceptional.

Just started it and we’re totally invested in the characters already, definite highlight so far has been Maddie and the My little Ponies scene.

If anyone saw the first episode of Doctor Who, did you realise that the sontaran was Jonathan Watson? 😁
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.
