The Last of Us has been really incredible Tv so far. Something even better about it being one episode per week too. Don’t think the latest episode would work so well if it was a binge release
I agree, with all of that.

For the first time, episode 3 deviated from the story in the game, but it deserved it's own distinct showcase (I can't find the right phrase). At first I thought they were incorporating elements of the Part 2 story, but it seems they are planning a second season so maybe not.

I think we'll see a lot more of the infected and the various baddies in the remaining episodes.

Is Mark Strong in that? If so, it is indeed good.

After all that hype I think I was expecting a better ending to Happy Valley than that.

Angel of Death, Polish serial killer drama on All4, well worth a look.

Dunno, thought it was pretty decent myself and fitted in with the approach taken throughout. Thought the face off between the two main protagonists was very well done.

Also seems to have been pretty universally acclaimed elsewhere.

Never going to suit everyone I suppose and didn’t deliver some of the more outrageous suggested endings that were floated in the run up but I don’t think it was ever set up to do so.

I liked the ending. Brilliantly acted and some kind of redemption for TLR. It’s not like the episode lacked any action, the scenes earlier were brutally violent to the extent I almost had to fast forward it. I’m not usually affected by violence on screen, but Happy Valley has always outdone itself without being ridiculous.

Every story apart from the main one was wrapped up in a 30 second chat between Catherine and her boss, I was expecting a bit more depth.

This saved me a lot of typing!

Has anybody watched Yellowstone and is it worth persevering with?
Granted I have only watched the first episode of it but it didn’t really appeal to me

I’m late to the party but having just got Apple TV for the first time I’m loving Ted Lasso so far.

Just watched the first episode of the Chris Packham series on autism.

Pass me the tissues, that was heart rending and uplifting in equal measure.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

I know someone who's daughter is very good at masking, studying at Glasgow University just now. But the bit that got me was Ken Bruce's son. Such intelligence locked up in a young man's head. So glad he is at college now.

Yeah it was very emotional. Made me wonder who I know is masking unbeknownst to me. If 700,000 females are undiagnosed, I just wonder how many have been misdiagnosed, especially for those on the milder end of the spectrum. I had a training course booked a few weeks back to learn more about autism but was ill and missed it. I'm keen to learn more, looking forward to the 2nd episode.

    Yeah it quality.

Plenty of good stuff on Apple to be fair.

They don’t have a huge output but what they do do tends to be pretty good.

Not having it before you’ll have quite wee selection to get through!

I persisted with the first season but didn’t enjoy it at all. Jason Sudekis as Ted Lasso was actually decent but found the rest of the acting terrible, pretty cringeworthy at times.

Well yeah comedy is always a bit like that to be fair. I’m one of the few who never likes the Office for example!

It’s won plenty of accolades though so they must have done something right.

Best comedy on Apple is Acapulco I’d say, enjoyed that more than Lasso.

Last of us remains really good, slight merging of certain things from part 2 in the latest episode rather than the first game, but setting it all up well and remaining really faithful

For those discussing shows on Apple TV check out 'Shrinking' with Jason Segel. Brilliant.
