Watched first episode of your honor on sky Atlantic earlier, looks promising.

I'm continuing to enjoy Those who Kill on FOX, it's got a certain atmosphere running through it that I can't quite put my finger on, thoroughly absorbing though. Chloe Sevigny plays a good part.

I assume it's the US version of the Danish series by the same name.

Also watched the first episode and it was decent enough. Struggle to see how they can stretch a whole series around one event though.

Late to this but agree with all the comments about It’s a Sin. Excellent series.

I watched the first episode of the US one tonight. Not a patch on the original and don't think I'll bother.

Even with Chloe Sevigny in it 😁.

I watched the Mormon thing on Netflix last night. That guy is truly psychotic, the way he just calmly talked about what he’d done was quite chilling.

Unforgotten series 4 still very good, well acted understated quality British TV. Nicola Walker really deserves more work, great actor.

I started watching Hightown last night.

For a Massachusetts crime drama, it's pretty mental in a loads of alcohol & cocaine fuelled lesbian sex scenes sort of way.

    I'm enjoying it anyway.

I like it but she does irritate me at times with the “I’m almost about to cry” thing she does. Very much like the characters Anna Friel plays - always on the verge of tears.

Ok, obviously she’s on the recovery from a major breakdown, personally I thought she played it well

She is - in this series. Previous series she’s been like that as well. I think she was like this at times in Spooks as well.

Watched the 1st episode of White House Farm on Netflix. Enjoyed it and will watch the rest but it's another one of those stories that because I know the outcome I find it hard to feel any suspense or tension though.

Quite enjoying Bloodlands on BBC. It's slow but there are a lot of strands to pull together so I don't mind that. I would say some parts are as implausible or downright daft as Line of Duty but the slower pace makes that more noticeable. In LoD loads of things are ridiculous but the frenzied pace means you can ignore that. This doesn't have that luxury. Interested to see how they are going to tidy the whole thing up in one more episode and it's hooked me enough that I'll watch until the end.

Binge watched Behind Her Eyes yesterday. Was enjoyable but I found the ending a bit silly to be honest. Set up for another series I suppose.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I wasn’t aware of the outcome in White House farm so I found it enthralling.

I watched the reckoning last week. There was quite a lot going on considering it was basically about 2 characters, but I thought it was well made.

Yeah I think the second season of Ted Lasso is provisionally set to air in autumn this year, I thought the morning show would have at least one more season because there was still some unresolved issues, I hadn’t read it was happening though and with the length of time since the first season I thought it maybe wasn’t happening, but I suppose Covid has delayed loads of stuff. Defending Jacob is another good one on Apple TV, I’m sure I watched that in one night.
Yeah I watched it all on the back of your post, really good watch. Anything else you recommend?

I've watched a couple of episodes of Your Honor and I'm struggling to really get into it tbh.

I'll stick with it for another couple of episodes but it's just not grabbing me at all.

I think the problem is I just don't really like anyone in it. A couple of obvious exceptions but most of the characters are really unsympathetic, I'm not really rooting for anyone.

Took me a few episodes to realize the Judge is Walter White from breaking bad He actually looks younger now than he did a few years ago !

I was aware of it and knew the premise of the show, and had read it got mixed reviews in America.
Seen bits of the first one on Gogglebox and thought I'll try it, couldn't even finish the first episode, instead rewatched the defiant ones.
I am terrible that if a show doesn't draw me in within the first 15 20 Mon I get bored n switch off.
Some shows I will go back to and realise I was wrong, I'll maybe try it again in a few weeks.

Stark contrast to It's a Sin, not many shows me and the Mrs can find to watch together, she wasn't even planing on watching it when I stuck it on (she was hanging washing and was going to watch something in the room). We watched every episode in one go, totally hooked us from the go.
