I’m watching Honour on STV player. It’s heartbreaking.

Im just getting to the last episode of series 5, it’s the best one IMO. Stephen Graham puts in a truly great performance.
Stephen Graham is an outstanding actor.

I’m 3 episodes in and really enjoying it. It’s pretty mental though! A mish mash of pulpy genre stories, whether horror or fantasy - inspired by HP Lovecraft.

There is a through line to the story but each episode is pretty much a new story too. Each inspired by a different horror/fantasy theme I think.

Defo worth a look but won’t be everyone’s cup of tea
Think I’ve had 3 attempts at finishing the first episode but only made it about 40 minutes in, just after the car chase where they appear to hint at the weirdness to come. Maybe the fact the episode was really slow, but just can’t get into it.

Really enjoying Criminal UK and Criminal Germany. Netflix own production with the same set used in several different countries. Germany has just edged it so far.

I’m really enjoying cobra Kai just now and I’m unsure why, acting is Ham at best, the karate is terrible but for some reason I’m hooked! I’ve been struggling with long episodes recently so maybe the short episodes and easy to tune out watching it is the reason.

Also been in and out of Eastbound & Down which is very funny and very silly rolled into one typical with will Farrell involvement I think

A film that I can thouroughly recommend on Netflix

Enola Holmes, I think it has potential for a series as well.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

This is England, what a performance. His Desert Island Discs from last year is a good listen, still on the iPlayer. Some great stories.

Really good ‘family film’ that’s an easy and enjoyable watch.

Based on the first of a series of books I believe so fully expect them to turn these into a rolling franchise style film series.

The lead actress (or is it just actor these days?) is 9 from stranger things and is still only 16.

Always amazes me how good someone can be at such a young age and how odd it must be to have essentially ‘made it’ before you even leave school!!

I knew who she was but was thrown by the accent until I looked her up and realised she is English.

I've just finished season 1 of cobra Kai. Loved it.

Good mix of action, cheesy humour, nostalgia, and a great soundtrack.

She was really good in a music video for Sigma from a few years back.

Watched An American Murder on Netflix.

Absolutely heartbreaking. Cant understand what drives people to commit such unspeakable acts!
It's a tough watch but fascinating bit of TV

Just finished this. Even though I had heard about the story and listened to a couple podcasts about it. Made me feel absolutely sick. Found it to be a tough watch.

Just watching the UK one, have to say I’m finding Raj from the Big Bang Theory as a bad guy very unsettling.

I recently watched the UK ones. The French version looks promising too (good actors), but I'm having a break before watching it in case it gets too samish.

Watched that last night, not easy for an actor to shake off stereotyping but he did a decent job. They've managed to pull in some big names for the bad guys.

I've watched all the available German episodes and was surprised that each country isn't using the same storylines adapted to their audience.

The last German episode was eerily similar to the Mira Hindley case.

I started watching 2 weeks to live last night. It’s decent comedy that had me laughing out loud a few times.

How to survive a murder on SKY Crime, not the easiest of watches but, quite moving nonetheless.

That is one of the best investigation/documentaries I think I've ever seen, both those guys have balls of titanium for doing that

Everyone should give this a watch

Has anyone watched much of Carnival Row? I watched the first episode last night and not sure about it. I'll watch a few more as too early to judge it but wondered what others' thoughts were.

The latest episode of The Walking Dead was pretty rubbish again. Seemed to be The Walking Dead meets Star Wars at the end...
